Freebie, Freebie, Who's got a Freebie?

So I've been MIA for the last week or so. Christopher was up for 5 days with us and it was great to spend some time with him before he went home to move into his new rental and start his new job this Monday!! He is sharing with two other guys and it all sounds great but I am yet to get some photos of this house so I will reserve my opinions. I am just so proud of him for doing it all on his own and am just bursting with it!!

Okay so last night I made a celebratory Freebie for you all. I hope you like it and would love to see any layouts you create using it!!

I'm really enjoying this designing lark I have got into. I am thinking I really need to buy the Eye Candy 5 Plug ins though. One of mine has expired and I am missing it so much. I guess I'll think about that later on.

OKAY HERE'S THE BIG NEWS!!

Okay, if you've been reading Michael's blog you'll know some of this already, but here goes.

Christopher is coming up to see us for 5 days from Sunday, yes THIS SUNDAY!!! WOO HOO!!

I miss him so much and he is starting his new job on Monday 2nd June so this is his last chance for the next 12 months to come up to Sydney. But that's not all!!!!!

He found somewhere to rent!!! yay!! That's the last of our worries with Chris and not having a permanent home. He has been staying with a friend and his family and paying them board. So now he will return from Sydney and move into his HOUSE!!! Yeah a house!! So he'll get all his stuff out of the storage place and be settled in a fashion before he starts work. I have to tell him to set up his Hydro so he'll have some hot water etc but other than that he's set!! I am soooo relieved!! And so excited for him!!!

Yup that's him, that's our Christopher!!! He has a goatie in this pic which is now gone, but I liked the look of it on him LOL!! The kit here is Terrell Sanzone's Signs of Spring.Here is a layout I did for a challenge over at Mootwodesigns. Bindi Irwin with a banded iguana
This one is for a family tree challenge. Took me ages to extract that tree and then get the look I wanted but I am very happy with the outcome!!
This one is of our remaining Pup Shona, she had just had her hair and feet trimmed, not really impressed LOl. The kit here is Signs of Spring from Terrell Sanzone again.
Here's another one of Chris, referring to his impending visit!! The kit here is Shannon Fahrnbach's How does your garden grow? and I used her Feeling Hingy hinges for the clipboard creation. Those are shannon's ribbons too from her Spring Ribbons CU selection.

My 7 facts about me, thinking, thinking, thinking, okay got it

1. I am origianally from Scottish heritage but I was born in Berlin because my parents just happened to be posted there when I was due.

2. My father was in the army so when I was a kid I lived all up and down the east coast of Australia

3. I have never had a broken bone or been seriously sick in my life, only ever went to hospital to give birth or have eggs harvested.

4. I have known my husband since I was 16 but we have only been together as a couple for the last 8 years

5. I don't own a passport, have to do that one day so I can travel LOL.

6. I have 0ne Brother who is a Rockclimbing addict LOL.

7. We have 4 nieces and no nephews. Christopher, our son is the only boy in the family. I know I have no wierd things but that's me!!! LOL!!

Crash!!!!

I had a reasonably serious accident on my bike today. I was turning at a roundabout and thought that the person in the front car opposite me wouldn't know what I was going to be doing so I changed to my left hand and went to indicate to the right, at a reasonable speed and whammo!! I must have pressed the brake with my right hand at the same time and I flipped over the handlebars and onto the road. Aweful, stuff. And I was so sore and crying to Michael to get me off the road!! It's a bit busy at that time of day when the schools are letting the kids out and there were several cars driving around me, scary!! Michael said I was sort of intertwined with the bike so he wanted to make sure my leg was okay before he got me out from the bike and over to the sidewalk. Michael said 3 guys stopped to help, two in cars and one that had been jogging along, thank you so much to all three of you!!! I only remember the man who helped Michael hold me up as I went hazy and apparantly fainted!!! That's a first for me sigh!! I just remember feeling sick and then like I was dreaming and then lying on the ground and Michael calling my name, freaky really!!! Then they laid me on the sidewalk and Michael checked my injuries. A very sore double scrape to my right arm around the elbow and a little one on the other elbow and matching scrapes on both my knees. I will have a super bruise on my right thigh , the full length of it, very pretty sigh!! Oh well I am very sore but very glad that there was no car involved. I had my self pity cry after we got home and I was all bandaged up and starting to get over the shock. I actually rode some of the way back home simply because I just wanted to get home, I got a few looks from people as I rode along with my skint knees and elbow I can tell you LOL. Well I can laugh now LOL.

And just to let you know our internet is back on broadband, yay!! They actually gave us a new modem!! I think they were just sick of having to fix it for us LOL. So that's all good.

Oh and before he patched me up I handed Michael the camera to get some pics of my injuries to scrap my major stack!!!

Okay I'm gonna go as I'm starting to get a sore elbow again with all the typing, lucky it was my left elbow and I can still do most computer stuff!!

No Broadband

And boy are we feeling it, especially me LOL. We do have dial up for emergencies like this but it's not the same when you are trying to download or upload a kit, sigh!! But enough of the complaints on to the layouts.
Terrell has just released this new Kit named My Little Garden, and it is sooooo gorgeous!!
This first layout is of me now!! I have lost over 40 pounds and feeling so great for it that I thought some proof was required, only another 10 kg to go!!

Here's one of our wedding, I am loving this kit, so soft and feminine!!

Here's me and Gabriella this kit was just perfect for this photo!! Terrell is the Queen of Design LOL!!

This Autumn Nuptials layout is for an abc album of our wedding which is also a challenge over at mootwodesigns, the coralling your memories challenge hosted by TerrellS. Hint: She has an alpha up for you if you participate!!

Okay so we have to wait till monday for the broadband to come back, if they fix it this time. We lost it last Sunday until Tuesday and then it dropped out last night so Who knows when we'll be back to normal. We are thinking about cable!!

Okay well we didn't get pregnant this last IVF either but I do have some good news from Christopher, he got a new job with a government department, can't really say which one LOL, but it's really good news for the next 12 months at least. We are so proud of him!!

Okay well that's about it for now, have to go check out some blogs and stuff before I DISCONNECT, god, I'll have to remember to do that won't I LOL.
